FOCUS
January 7-13, 2014

FOCUS 2014 is a national platform presenting the performance of U.S.-based dance companies and is one of the largest gathering of artists, dancers, and dance professionals in the U.S.  For eight days, four venues partner with Gotham Arts Exchange to showcase the artistic visions of the two curators invited to shape this year's presentation. WINTER JAZZFEST
January 7-11, 2014

Since launching as a one-day festival in 2005, Winter Jazzfest has expanded to multiple days and numerous venues, showcasing hundreds of artists and attracting thousands of attendees each year. In 2013 the festival featured over 70 groups and 400 musicians in 6 venues while welcoming over 5000 attendees. Set against the historic backdrop of the Village the festival helps to redeem the rich jazz heritage of the downtown neighborhood while providing an intimate and energized environment for audiences to experience today's incredibly diverse and thriving jazz and creative music community. PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now
January 8-19, 2014  

PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now, launched this past January 2013, is the annual festival of visionary opera-theatre and music-theatre works by pioneering artists from New York and around the world. A new body of contemporary classical and post-classical work is now burgeoning as an exciting new generation of composers and librettists focus on the creation of chamber-sized pieces in new and unique ways. UNDER THE RADAR
January 8-19, 2014

The Public Theater’s Under The Radar (UTR) is a festival of new theater widely recognized as a premier launching pad for new and cutting-edge performance from the U.S. and abroad. Now celebrating its tenth edition, Under The Radar offers a crash course in theater created by some of the most dynamic artists working today, including past appearances by Elevator Repair Service, Nature Theater of Oklahoma, Gob Squad, Belarus Free Theater, Mariano Pensotti, and more.
