Call for APAP|NYC 2013 Presentation Proposals

In the spirit of IMAGINE, APAP members are invited to submit proposals to present a Special Interest Session, Idea Lounge or host a Consultation Salon at APAP|NYC 2013 about strategies, tools or resources that have worked successfully in the following areas:

• Entrepreneurship - new ways of doing business, new relationships between artists, agents, managers and presenters, and how new work is created, presented, and marketed
• Connecting with community - activism through innovative strategies and partnerships that develop and sustain performing arts presenting as a critical success factor in your community

APAP considers a limited number of proposals that focus on specific tools and strategies benefiting one or more sector of the APAP membership, such as presenters, agents, managers, artists or board members. Special Interest Sessions are scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings; Idea Lounges take place in the afternoons. APAP staff will determine the date, time and location of accepted presentations within the structure of the APAP|NYC professional program.

The deadline for submission of presentation proposals is August 10, 2012.
Applicants can expect to be notified of acceptance by September 10, 2012.
